This year's annual Avalon Rotary Club Auction will kick off in the courtyard of The Landing in Avalon on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 6pm to 8pm.  The event is only $10 and includes your bidding number, a scrumptious Mexican Buffet and live entertainment. 

Among the tempting items to be auctioned off are a family "Roar and Snore" sleep over at the San Diego Wild Animal Park; Dolphin Interaction program for two at San Diego's Sea World; reservations for two at this year's New Year's Eve Gala at the Casino Ballroom; a "'Round the Island" boat tour for 6 with Doug Bombard, which includes lunch at the Harbor Reef Restaurant at Two Harbors, an all day fishing/boating trip, and many more fun and exciting tours and products of the Island.  Additional items can be found on our website listed below.

This year's auction proceeds will benefit the much needed and long awaited veterinary clinic expansion and will serve to improve health care for the animal population of the island.

The annual September auction is the Avalon Rotary Club's biggest fundraiser and significantly helps the Club benefit local community charities and contribute to the betterment of the Island community.
